Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner

Zhinus is a compassionate professional with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree and pursing her Master’s Post Grad Degree in Social Work. Zhinus has extensive experience working as a Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner, supporting children and adults with Level 2 and 3 autism, intellectual disabilities, and global developmental delays. She specialises in addressing complex behaviours using proven, evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Zhinus has a strong passion for supporting neurodivergent children with complex needs. Her approach combines empathy, clinical expertise, and a deep understanding of the diverse challenges faced by her clients. She is passionate about fostering inclusive and supportive environments where individuals can thrive, experience positive change and an enhanced quality of life.
She continues to receive professional supervision with Takes Care’s Principal Psychologist and an external supervisor who is a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Specialist.
