Rosalba Medoro
Clinical Psychologist

I am a Clinical Psychologist with almost 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of mental health, developmental, and life challenges. My professional background includes 15 years in private practice and 18 years working within the community sector, supporting pregnant and parenting mothers experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns, mental health difficulties, and the impacts of domestic and family violence.
I have extensive experience working with complex presentations and provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, work-related stress, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, alcohol and other drug issues, and borderline personality disorder. While I enjoy working with people of all ages, I have a particular passion for supporting adolescents as they navigate the unique challenges of this important stage of life.
My approach is person-centred, collaborative, and compassionate. I believe that every individual deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can openly explore their experiences, develop insight, and work towards meaningful change. Kindness, respect, and genuine care guide every aspect of my practice.
In addition to therapy, I provide comprehensive psychological assessments and reports, including:
- ADHD assessments for children, adolescents, and adults
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments for adolescents and adults
- Cognitive (IQ) assessments for children and adults
- Learning disorder assessments
- Comprehensive diagnostic and assessment reports
I also have extensive experience completing reports and assessments for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), including psychological and functional capacity assessments to support access to appropriate funding and services. I work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that clients receive optimal support through the NDIS. I provide Disability Support Pension (DSP) reports and assessments for citizenship exemptions, including for individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Supporting NDIS participants to access the supports they need and improve their quality of life is particularly rewarding.
I am committed to helping people build resilience, improve their wellbeing, overcome challenges, and move towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.
